Becoming a senior Caregiver. What led Stella to a career in caregiving?

What led you to begin a career in caregiving? As a caregiver in the USA, I could not have enough time for my parents, who passed away in Bulgaria couple of years ago. I received notification notification of being a Caregiverlist's Refer-a-Friend program on Memorial Day and I think that helping people is important and I like to do so, and to meet honest people as well. What led me to caregiving, was being able to help at home, and when I was away helping the world in crisis and poverty. 

What is one of your most memorable caregiving experiences? When I was on duty 24/7 in Ottawa, IL and the patient invited my mother to visit and stay in her place.

How many years have you been a caregiver? I've been a caregiver for 10 years.

What has being a caregiver taught you? Patience. 

 How do you manage the stress that comes with caregiving?  With following action, step by step, with no rush, no arguments and always being polite.
